St. Patrick's Day is an Irish holiday celebrated all around the globe to honour the patron saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick. It is also a worldwide celebration of Irish culture and history.
This week in honour of St Patrick's day we made green cupcakes, a fun Leprechaun paper craft, read some books and sang some songs!
Songs:
To Find a Four Leaf Clover
( To the tune of Dreidel Dreidel)
To find a four leaf clover
Go looking in the yard
Ya look around all over
Keep looking very hard
It doesn't cost a penny
It doesn't cost a buck
But when you finally find one
It's sure to bring you LUCK
oh, Little four leaf clover
It's sure to bring good luck
Little four leaf clover
It's sure to bring good luck
. .
(To the tune of I'm a Little Teapot)
I'm a little leprechaun dressed in green
the tiniest man that you've ever seen.
If you ever catch me so it's told
I'll give you my pot of Gold!
