What could be more fun during an August heat wave than water play. :)
This client of mine will be moving back to Newfoundland soon to embark a new and wonderful journey. I asked if she would mind writing a "little something" for my daycare website and this is what she wrote.
Thank you very much KB
"My son Benjamin, started at Kristina's Little Lamb's Home Daycare
in November 2012 and I couldn't be happier. He was 9 months old at the
time and as a first time Mom I was extremely anxious about having to find a daycare; being new to the area added to that. Thankfully I had found Kristina through her website. She's an amazing mother to her two children and she treats my son as if he were one of her own.
Kristina is very involved and takes part in their play and daily
activities, which vary from day to day. She doesn't just sit back and
supervise. They often go to the library for play group, or out in
their backyard. The children have access to all of the house, and are
not confined to a specific room.
My son absolutely loves going there and always has a smile on his
face when I drop him off and pick him up for the day. Kristina is
very nutrition oriented. The snacks/meals provided are top of the line
for nutrition and she serves a variety of foods every day.
All in all I am beyond ecstatic that I managed to find her as a daycare
provider. She is amazing beyond words."
This week we are exploring "things that go fast". Whether it's cars or dogs it's sure to be an adventure. The idea is the children decide what fast means to them. Who/what moves fast? How does it do it? Where are these objects/living things fast? School is quickly approaching so this will also be a week filled with routine and preschool fun.
